Bài Mẫu 7.0+ Writing Task 2 Mới Nhất 2021 - Wildlife Protection

Many believe that it is important to protect all wild animals, while others think that it is important to protect some, not all of them.

Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Wildlife protection is a challenging issue. While some believe that all wild species need to be preserved, others contend that only a few priority ones should be. There are several perspectives on both sides of this heated debate.

On the one hand, advocates of protecting all wildlife would state that it is part of humanity's obligation to recognize that people are the primary threat to all animals' survival,
not only the endangered ones. Indeed, there are many examples of human-caused harm to wildlife, such as industrialization and rapid population growth. These have had a detrimental effect on the natural habitats of countless species during the last few decades, which has created a ripple effect that leads to many animals' endangerment. As a result, it could adversely affect the global ecology. Thus, they note that even wild animals that are not on the verge of extinction also need to be protected. Otherwise, worldwide extinction is a possibility.

On the other hand, others might argue that only certain types of species require protection by their very nature. This, too, has its justification. Consider the following example, pandas are threatened with extinction in the wild due to a lack of shelter and food, thus, they require more intensive care and protection than other species such as camels or wolves, which are adept at adapting to a range of living conditions. Thus, it is a waste of limited resources and expenditures to focus on protecting these species. Rather than that, people should be more selective in preserving animals. For example, horses, which have served humans since the dawn of time, or bees, which are highly valuable not just for agriculture, but also for food and medication should be the ones that need intensive protection.

In conclusion, I believe that the notion of just conserving some types of wildlife has more compelling grounds, given the limitation of human resources, expenses, and the fact that certain species are already well-adapted. Moreover, governments and individuals should also collaborate to develop appropriate measures to minimize the impact of human activities on wild animals. (345 words)
